Man Charged with Burning Woman's Clothes: Johnston Police Report

June 15
Marc Daniel McVey, 44, of 4801 N.W. 55th Ave., Johnston, was arrested for criminal mischief for allegedly burning a woman's clothes. According to a police report, officers were called to assist the Johnston Fire Department with an illegal burn. Police found women's clothes in the fire pit and no one at the residence. Authorities were later contacted by a woman who said her clothes had been burned in the fire.

June 19

A resident in the 7300 block of Northwest Beaver Drive reported that someone had painted the number 32 on her vehicle. Damage was estimated at between $200 and $500.

June 20

A resident reported receiving a fraudulent check in the mail from someone  he does not know. Bank employees confirmed the check was a fake.
