Driver Charged with Drug Possession, Trying to Elude Police: Johnston Police Reports

June 9

Four men were charged with public intoxication in the 5300 block of Merle Hay Road. Those charged are: Emir Gabeljic, 27, of 3420 64th St., Urbandale; Aladin Ahmetovic, 20, of 4140 N.W. 100th St., Urbandale; Muhamed Tursunovic, 27, of 8005 Prairie Ave., Urbandale; and Sejfo Gabeljic, 30, of 3420 64th St., Urbandale.

June 15

A parent reported her 15-year-old son was harassed by four people in a white SUV in the 6300 block of Northwest 51st Street.

June 18

Jaymond Aaron Imming, 36, of 5916 Sutton Place, Urbandale, was arrested in the 6100 block of Northwest Beaver Drive and charged with driving while barred.

June 19

Ronald Michael Vansickle, 34, of 2013 E. 42nd St., Des Moines, was charged with possession of narcotics, eluding an officer, reckless driving and held on an outstanding warrant. A passenger in the vehicle, Jesse James Stewart, 31, of 1743 E. 21st St., Des Moines, was charged with possession of narcotics.  A female passenger was taken into custody by the Polk County Sheriffs Office.
