Drink Craft Beer for a Good Cause (Really) at Iowa State Fair
Your donations during the Iowa State Fair can help fund research into a fatal genetic disease.
The craft brewery owners and employees from around the state who are working at the group's tent on the Iowa State Fairgrounds want you to tip big.
Not for them, but to help cystic fibrosis research. All tips left at the tent during the Iowa State Fair will help fight the genetic disease, reports KCCI.
A couple of brewery or brew pub industry members have family members with the disease, which affects the lungs, and other organs. Those with CF live drastically shorter lifespans.
