Woman Reports Vandalized Headstone: Johnston Police Blotter

Sept. 7:

James Fredrick Gruber, 33, of 6856 NW 57th St., arrested on Merle Hay Road and charged with public intoxication.
A man reported his phone was stolen when he was playing soccer.

Sept. 8:

A woman reported her father`s headstone had been vandalized.

A woman reported being harassed by her brother via phone, text messages and email.

An officer took report of damage done to a gazebo area that belonged to the Bent Tree Villa Homeowner's Association.

Sept. 9:

Bank One, 5525 Merle Hay Road, reported they received a counterfeit $20 bill that came in a deposit bag from one of their customers.
