Stolen Power Cord and Cars Damaged in the Garage: Johnston Police Blotter

Sept. 12:

Hy-Vee reported a fraudulent prescription. Rachelle Cozine Deeter, 39, of Des Moines, was arrested and charged with two counts of prescription fraud on Sept. 13.

Sept. 13:

A man reported his power cords were stolen off of a job site on NW 84th Circle.

El Mariachi, 5825 Merle Hay Road, reported a customer had written several checks for food on a checking account that was closed.

Sept. 14:

A male juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A man reported someone had entered his open garage and damaged 2 vehicles inside and one vehicle in the driveway. Approximate estimate of damages is $2,500.
