The 2013 state wrestling tournament comes to a close this evening (Feb. 16).
Johnston sophomore Henry Pohlmeyer was crowned 3A state champion at 106 pounds after his 6-1 decision over Jacob Schwarm, a Bettendorf sophomore.
Logan Walkup, Johnston, Sr., wrestle for the class 3A state title at 160 pounds against. Tim Miklus, S.E. Polk, Sr., defeated Walkup in an 11-5 decision.
