Starting today, Dahl’s shoppers in central Iowa and Ames can save money on gas with a My Ways to Save Club Card and accrue savings with every transaction over $50 at Dahl’s. Customers can then apply those savings on fuel at any Dahl’s Fuel or local QuikTrip location.

“We designed this program to be unique to the market and convenient for our customers,” said Dahl’s CEO David Sinnwell. “With nearly every product in our stores eligible for savings, this promotion is already getting great reviews from our shoppers.”

The savings are as follows:

Buy $50-$99 groceries  = Earn $0.04 off per gallon

Buy $100-$149 groceries = Earn $0.09 off per gallon

Buy $150+ groceries = Earn $0.15 off per gallon

Every prescription filled = Earn $0.05 off per gallon

For example, if you make a $50 purchase at Dahl’s and on your next transaction you spend $100, your card will have $0.13 off per gallon collected. You can then go to one of the Dahl’s Fuel stations (Ingersoll or Merle Hay) or one of the 21 local QuikTrip locations and fill up on gas to receive $0.13 off per gallon.

Different from other local programs, savings can accumulate for as many as 60 days, or the month following each purchase. So, if a purchase is made on December 3, a customer has until January 31 to use their savings. Upon redemption (or at the end of each following month) any unused points expire and begin to accumulate again. To redeem points, customers simply swipe their My Ways to Save Club Card at the pump before fueling.

From now until December 15 anyone who enrolls for a My Ways to Save Club Card online or at a Dahl’s Foods store will also be entered to win one of 15 $100 Dahl’s gift cards for a holiday shopping spree.

Customers can sign up now at any Dahl’s location and begin using their cards immediately. Customers may also register online at dahlsfoods.com/clubcard and will receive the card via mail.
